Most of the people think the TC2048
is the european version of the TS2048 project, but it isn't, TC2048 is a creation of TMX
of Portugal. While TC2068 is a "Super Spectrum", TC2048 is a TC2068 with some
things taken off. The AY-3-8912 sound chip and the command cartdriges dock port were
removed. The 2 joysticks ports were replaced by 1 Kempson Joystick port. TC2048 uses the
same ULA that TC2068 uses, so it have the special display modes of TC2068. The TC2068 ROMs
were replaced with a ZX Spectrum ROM to be 100% compatible, but there are some little
diferences between the ROMs. If a program/game make a checksum of the ROM, TC2048 ROM
checksum will be diferent.

For the TC2048 be 100% compatible with the ZX Spectrum, the edge connector is ZX Spectrum
compatible. You can connect the Interface 1 and Interface 2 to the TC2048.
It does not have the RGB signals in the edge connector. The presence of the /BE signal is
unknown.
